During Autumn season 2023 'How to Land' will happen at the dome of Eco resort Vale da Lama
How to Land is a series of three Contemporary Dance workshops designed to help tuning into the flow and impermanence of a dance improvisation. During the sessions, we nourish our bodies and minds with music & dance scores, touch & somatics, experiental anatomy & guided journeys... Permeable, fluid and transformative, we share our stories in motion.
The main focus of the Workshop is the The Rooted Body, exploring its grounding qualities and as such inviting us to find stability in an at times shaky world. The approach is both technical and poetical and welcomes all bodies ready to grow through movement research and improvisation. Each workshop cross fades into a dance jam with local musicians.

Origins – site specific performance walk
How to bring our human needs in resonance with the natural, living environment? In which way do landscapes and site specific elements speak to us? How can nature answer to our need to restore, to find safety, to play, to rest, to belong, to grief, to inhabit, to become familiar?
These questions form the base of a performative research which will happen during autumn season at Eco-resort Vale da Lama. The research will be open for visitors on each third Saturday of
the autumn months. Each session is a unique opportunity for the audience to witness authentic movement improvisation and to be guided through an outdoor performative walk. The trilogy will conclude with 'The faith of a Place' a lecture performance about Nature changing along with us. (dates TBA)
When: Saturday 21.10, 19h – 18.11, 18h – 16.12, 17h

Landscapes in Movement
Lim-Lab
"Technically speaking, our bodies are not exactly ours. What we call a body is an open-ended experiment, the present result of billions of years of an ongoing universal process that is in constant flux, arranging, re-arranging,
and experimenting as new formations come into existence. The continuum of life on land takes place within the galaxy and humans alike. (...) The fluid presence in our bodies is our fundamental environment; we are the moving water brought to land."
Emilie Conrad, Life on Land.
Landscapes in Movement is a Study LAB and unique opportunity tune into the flow and impermancence of a dance improvisation. During 3 days, we re-juice and re-vitalize our bodies nourished by music & dance scores, touch & bodywork, experiental anatomy & guided journeys. We activate our imagination by visiting inner and outer spaces and occurrences. From vibrant cells to cosmic travels... Permeable, fluid and transformative, we share our stories in motion.
The main focus of this Workshop is the The Fluid Body, exploring and celebrating its oceanic spirals and waves. The approach is both technical and poetical and welcomes all bodies ready to grow through movement research and exploration.
